SharePoint Web Developer in Arizona

POSITION: SharePoint Web Developer OPEN: April 3, 2007

LOCATION: Ft. Huachuca, Arizona CLOSE: OUF

The SharePoint Web Developer will be responsible to build the operations end of the organization’s Web sites and keep them running smoothly. This includes designing, building, and implementing new Web pages and sites; integrating sites with back end applications; migrating legacy applications to the Web; and performing day-to-day administration of the organization’s Web portfolio.

The use of a variety of Microsoft’s Web development languages are a must.

Minimum Requirements:

• BS Computer Information Systems; or IT Degree
• Microsoft Server (Certificate) is required
• 5 years experience related to Web Site Development
• 2 years experience with Microsoft Server 2003
• SharePoint experience preferred
• Experience in preparing system accreditation documentation

• Knowledge in developing and communicating Web site usage
• Knowledge in security policies and standards to all users
• Knowledge in Web site architecture and overall site structure
• Knowledge in installing and configuring HTTP servers and associated operating systems
• Knowledge in working with database administrator to design, develop and update databases as they relate to Web applications
• Knowledge in periodic Web site audits
• Ability to develop, code, install, test, debug and document Web application using appropriate editors
• Ability to establish policies and procedures for publishing Web pages and applications in conjunction with content creators
• Ability to update Web pages to ensure site accuracy and currency
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot problems with existing Web applications and sites
• Ability to monitor and report on Web site traffic and performance
• Ability to conduct research into current and emerging Web technologies and issues in support of Web development efforts
• Familiar with backup technologies in a server and network environment
