INVESTMENT STRATEGIST
Yale-New Haven Hospital, located on the coastline of Connecticut, is a 944 bed tertiary care facility recognized as one of the nation’s "top 18 medical centers" in the 2007 Honor Roll by U.S.News & World Report, as well as one of the "100 Best Companies for Working Mothers" by Working Mother Magazine.

We are currently looking for an experienced professional to identify, research, evaluate and select investment managers to manage portions of the Hospital’s investment portfolio. In addition, you will be responsible for tracking, analyzing, evaluating and reporting on investment performance. This position offers an opportunity to develop well conceived and academically supported investment strategies for the Hospital’s Endowment, Pension, and Operating portfolios including developing a selection process and evaluation criteria for major asset classes, creating diversified portfolios of non-traditional assets such as hedge funds, recommending changes to asset allocations and evaluating market trends for opportunities.

If you have a MBA, CFA or other relevant post graduate education plus 5+ years of investment experience this may be the job for you. You must demonstrate knowledge of economics, finance, accounting, capital markets and investment markets; be proficient in MS Office, have working knowledge of Bloomberg, Reuters or other capital market systems; be a disciplined thinker with strong conceptual abilities and be articulate and skilled at presenting and defending ideas.
