Lab Technician (Welding)

PRIMARY FUNCTION: Assist Welding instructors in the provision of materials, supplies, equipment and related technical, logistical or mechanical support within the Trade and Industry department; provide assistance to students in the Trade and Industry; and perform a variety of duties relative to Trade and Industry. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Under direction from the Dean, Career and Technical Education, with functional oversight from instructors, oversee the operation of the Welding laboratory to maintain a facility of higher learning and ensure a safe work environment. Order, receive, catalog and store tools and equipment in accordance with established procedures; coordinate with instructors to ensure adequate quantities are available for the instructional program. Issue lab equipment to and collect equipment from students for welding by checking items in and out. Keep appropriate tool and equipment maintenance records. Test, adjust, maintain and perform minor repairs

The Clinical Project Manager acting as the Clinical Operations Study Lead (COSL) is responsible independently managing multiple clinical trials of moderate complexity or managing a broader range of activities on large multi-center studies.
