HR Jobs - Senior Assessment Specialist in New York


MTA, Metro-North Railroad has an excellent opportunity for a Senior Assessment Specialist.

Responsibilities include: Developing testing instruments and batteries; implementing Management assessment techniques; advising Human Resources and other Departments on testing issues; conducting validation studies and annual adverse impact analyses; administering non-union and union testing as well as assist the Employment Group during application reviews at test sites; and providing data relevant to testing issues.

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Business or related field, along with 3 years experience in a Business or Human Resources environment performing auditing job analysis, test development or administration for non–union and union positions. Knowledge of test construction, validation and statistical analysis is required. Proficiency in statistical analysis software (i.e. SPSS, SAS, etc.) and MS Office applications are essential. Excellent assessment, analytical, interpersonal, organizational, oral and written communication skills are imperative. Applicants must have a valid Driver's License.
