|Specific Requirements||Ensuring the development, implementation and utilization of global and local e-procurement solutions and advanced negotiation skills across the entire group to enhance processes by deploying e-procurement tools and ANC, thus guaranteeing the greatest possible contribution to the operation result. Analyze procurement processes and develop a comprehensive e-procurement strategy. Drive the implementation across the entire group. Hold training courses and workshops. Implement and coordinate change management processes within the group. Controlling function for e-procurement/ANC. Participate in Siemens-wide network. |
Conduct additional projects related to procurement tools and processes.
Expert in professional expertise on e-procurement, IT-toos and methods, process knowledge, giving presentations / chairing meetings. Advanced project management, technical (product) and commercial knowledge. Basic knowledge in quality, contract law, negotiation skills.

Performs complex buying strategies to purchase and arrange timely deliveries of supplies and materials; expedites as needed and serves as liaison between vendors and users, getting prior approval for purchases in excess of established limits. Resolves complex delivery, quality or other related problems with purchases and invoices. Updates project plans and purchasing systems; reviews and analyzes requisitions and supply plans for domestic and international purchases. Negotiates prices, terms and quality requirements; prepares requests for quotes and assists in the development of new supply sources; evaluates market conditions. Performs value analysis to identify cost improvements.
Performs full range of standard work for the professional field. Refers complex, unusual problems to others. Identifies and resolves more complex problems and applies problem-solving skills in order to deal with most situations.
BS/BA in related discipline, or advanced degree, where required, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Certification may be required in some areas.
Knowledge and Experience:
Demonstrates and applies a broad knowledge of field of specialization through successful completion of moderately complex assignments. Successfully applies complex knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of particular area of specialization. Demonstrates knowledge of organizations business practices and issues. Typically 5-8 years of successful experience in related field and successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above. Advanced degree MAY be substituted for experience, where applicable.

Provides general guidance or train support and/or professional staff.
