* In this Sr. Buyer position you will be a key member of the Supply Chain team. You will be responsible for various commodities such as (but not limited to): outsourced finished goods, contract manufacturing, services, electronic components, plastics, and cable.
* You will be responsible for supplier pricing, quality and delivery performance. Your experience in effectively working with process improvement teams and six sigma projects will be a plus.
* You will be responsible for near term supplier quality and delivery performance as well as defining near and long range strategic goals. Cost savings through effective negotiations and contract formation is a key component of this position.
* The ability to be able to manage tactical procurement issues in addition to strategic planning is a requirement of this position.
* Global sourcing experience is required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: * U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident status required * Minimum of 5 years of purchasing experience, to include global sourcing, in procurement of finished products, services,
electronic and mechanical components.
* Must have a proven track record in negotiations, cost reductions, contract formation, and strategic sourcing strategies.
* B.S. in Business Administration or associated 4 year degree. * Outstanding written and verbal communications skills. Excellent problem resolution skills.
* Continuous Improvement and Six Sigma experience is a plus.

Experienced in tracking procurement costs to budget.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated success in working in a team environment supporting operations, sales, and quality and customer requirements.
A strong commitment to team projects and deadlines is required.
Advanced PC skills using MS Office products including Excel, Word and Access.
CPM Certification is a plus
