Job Title: Process Engineer

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The Process Engineer is responsible for initiating and leading improvement projects in all areas of manufacturing which lead to new products introductions , improved safety, increased production efficiency, improved customer service, improved quality and to reduce costs. Lead efforts in lean manufacturing initiatives. Function as a primary technical resources for manufacturing personnel.
The primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Implementation of all procedures and policies for the manufacture of product
Development of new methods and processes and incorporating them into existing operations, monitoring modifications and upgrades, and troubleshooting existing processes
Prepare flow diagrams and process control charts and manufacturing documentation required by quality to meet customer requirements.
Develop new test procedures to ensure quality control.
Produce prototype samples for testing and customer evaluations
Lead scale up activities from R&D to full production.
Operation and maintenance of production lines
Assisting manufacturing whenever needed
Working in a team structure
REQUIREMENTS:
BS Degree in Science preferably in engineering or chemistry or a
Minimum of 5 years experience with chemical manufacturing or a
Minimum of 2 years experience with catalyst manufacturing
PHYSICAL REQUIRMENTS:
Must be able to sit and stand intermittently, use a keyboard, climb stairs occasionally, and lift up to 50 lbs pounds with or without accommodations.
