Assistant Director, HR Partner Services
The American Red Cross in Greater New York (/ARC/GNY) is a humanitarian organization that provides relief to victims of disasters and helps people prevent, prepare for, and respond to emergencies.

We are currently seeking a forward thinking strategic business partner for various client groups throughout the organization who will provide progressive Human Resources service and support to enhance operational excellence.

As Assistant Director, HR Partner Services, you will contribute to the achievement of the goals and objectives of Human Resources by making process improvements, anticipating client needs, working proactively to provide solutions to clients and building employee confidence and trust by effectively sharing information and delivering results with integrity. Other key aspects of this role are to assist in the design of initiatives to attract and retain talent and to help foster a workplace environment of inclusiveness through innovative programs that raise awareness and promote acceptance.

This is the ideal opportunity for you if you have in-depth experience as a human resources generalist particularly in the areas of employee relations, performance management and talent management with a strong client service orientation and excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work well in a fast paced environment.

Additional qualifications include:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or similar business program with a minimum of 5 years of progressive human resources experience. Non-profit experience and PHR or SPHR certification a plus. Strong knowledge of employment law required.
