Job Location: Houston, TX, US
The IT&S Function is currently undertaking a significant transformation of its applications support and development landscape. The transformation will be enabled by a) The consolidation of a significant part of the existing applications portfolio into an IT&S Function level market engagement which will be completed by 2Q09 and b) the establishment of Segment level IT&S sourcing strategies. This role will be accountable for providing procurement leadership to E&P IT&S including:- The establishment of the necessary vision and strategy consistent with E&P IT&S business goals; The development and execution of sourcing plans consistent with set strategies; Management of E&P IT&S strategic suppliers/vendors; The leadership of a US-UK procurement team which supports E&P IT&S. Job Dimensions:•A staff of circa 3-4 procurement professionals based in Houston and Sunbury•Procurement accountability for 3rd party spend ~$200m•Executive stakeholder engagement - in particular the VP IT&S E&P and extended leadership team•Manage a budget of circa $1.5m
Qualifications
•Experience in Procurement in a blue chip environment•Experience working in a leadership position•Experience in leading and motivating high performance teams •Experience of working cross culturally•Experience working in the applications development and support space
