This role is accountable for providing procurement leadership across the hardware, software and telecoms categories including:- The establishment of the necessary vision and strategy consistent with IT&S business goals; The development and execution of sourcing plans consistent with set strategies; Commercial management of strategic suppliers/vendors; The leadership of a US-UK procurement team which supports IT&S. Job Dimensions:•A staff of circa 4 procurement professionals based in Houston and Sunbury•Procurement accountability for 3rd party spend ~$650m•Executive stakeholder engagement •Manage a budget of circa $1.5m
Qualifications
•Experience in Procurement in a blue chip environment•Experience working in a leadership position•Experience in leading and motivating high performance teams •Experience of working cross culturally•Procurement experience across one or more of hardware, software and telecoms.
