The role will be responsible for managing BP’s third parties across a portfolio of categories to ensure that in the short and long term the provision of goods and services is fit for purpose and cost effective whilst minimizing risk to the business. Job Dimensions:• A staff of circa 30 professionals based in Houston and Sunbury• A spend of around $2bn• Multitude of suppliers across the world.• A number of key stakeholders based in UK and US• Products and services bought & consumed by employees from across the entire BP network• Manage a budget of circa $10mQualifications• University Degree • MCIPS or equivalent• Significant evidence of a track record in Procurement in a blue chip environment.• Experience of holding senior managerial positions within corporate procurement depts.• Experience of working cross culturally• Demonstrable experience of working in IT or IT procurement.Our business is the exploration, production, refining, trading and distribution of energy.
